Kimberly Warren

Kimberly Warren is portfolio director for the CAMH federally funded research and development center (FFRDC), which works to advance the nation’s progress toward an integrated healthcare system with improved access and quality at a sustainable cost. She leads MITRE’s strategy to identify, shape, and accelerate outcomes; and implement research, development, and critical program work for the Department of Health and Human Services. Ms. Warren has developed the CAMH program to accelerate biomedical innovation, improve population health and well-being, and improve the cybersecurity and safety of the health ecosystem. She brings almost 30 years’ experience working across multiple FFRDCs at MITRE. This includes shaping MITRE’s health-related research and technical capability development; shaping research and development for the Homeland Security Systems Engineering and Development Institute FFRDC (for DHS); and architecting the lab capabilities for MITRE’s Center for Advanced Aviation System Development (for FAA). Ms. Warren spent several years in industry as a software product development lead for Fortune 500 and international clients. She also served as the global director for Electronic Product Development at General Motors. Ms. Warren earned her B.S. in Computer Science from Syracuse University in New York and an M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence from Edinburgh University in Scotland.
