Through 2013, the U.S. ranked last out of 13 high-income nations in terms of healthcare outcomes for patients, despite dramatically outspending other countries.[i] Currently, experts are looking to alternative payment models (APMs) to address quality. MITRE is partnering across government and industry to help transform the health care market. As the operator of the CMS Alliance to Modernize Healthcare (CAMH), MITRE is convening and independently managing through the Health Care Payment Learning and Action Network (LAN). The LAN is a public-private partnership committed to a healthcare system that delivers better care, spends dollars more wisely, and results in healthier people. Learn more
