Rob McCready, M.S., advises across multiple federal agencies, including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). His expertise in strategic technology evaluation creates cross-agency synergies. Mr. McCready is responsible for shaping and delivering efforts across HHS that advance the “Learning Health System.” Mr. McCready is responsible for managing a portfolio of Health IT projects with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC), the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), and numerous Health IT-related efforts at Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Mr. McCready is an expert in the design, development, and infrastructure needed for clinical quality measures, CDSs, and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Mr. McCready earned a B.S. in Physics from Boston College and an M.S. in Computer Science from Boston University.
