Empowering Patients: Rural Healthcare and Chronic Conditions

Engaging patients in the management of chronic care in rural areas. This session will provide a discussion of the potential barriers to adopt patient-facing tools in rural health centers, the value of conducting usability tests to mitigate these barriers, and a discussion of clinical studies needed to evaluate the impact of these tools.
