Joseph P. Ditre

Joseph P. Ditre serves as a principal domain specialist in MITRE’s Health Policy Department, and has extensive experience in health policy and law. Prior to joining MITRE, Ditre was a consultant to several large, national, nonprofit organizations working on issues of housing and health, health system transformation, and consumer engagement. He served as senior director of enterprise and innovation at Families USA; and prior to that served as the executive director of a Maine-based consumer health organization, Consumers for Affordable Health Care. Ditre earned his bachelor and juris doctor’s degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. He was awarded the Dean Jefferson B. Fordham Human Rights Award by the Penn Law School Faculty.
