A National Repository of Widely-Shareable, Computable CDS
Thursday, March 8, 2018, 8:30AM–9:30AM PT
Location: Delfino 4004; Session 199
CDS Connect is an AHRQ-sponsored project to collect, build, store and make available a wide range of Clinical Decision Support (CDS) artifacts in both human-readable and computable forms. Clinicians, patients, quality leaders and others can browse, search, and access artifacts to download and implement in their clinical IT environment. This session will demonstrate the CDS Connect Repository, describe its pilot use at a Federally Qualified Health Center in the domain of cholesterol management, and discuss the role of a community-driven, online repository in accelerating the transformation of evidence into practical, implementable, CDS. The project is led by the CMS Alliance to Modernize Healthcare, a federally-funded R&D center operated by The MITRE Corporation.
