Dr. Dawn Heisey-Grove is a principal epidemiologist within MITRE’s Health Technical Center. Dr. Heisey-Grove has more than 10 years of infectious disease epidemiology experience at a state health department and more than eight years of health informatics experience during which she published a number of peer-reviewed journal articles. Dr. Heisey-Grove has led several projects for CDC that attempt to leverage clinical and community data to support public health surveillance and health services research. She also supported several research and development projects for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Ms. Heisey-Grove has a PhD from Virginia Commonwealth University, an MPH from Boston University and a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Maryland, College Park.
