Kelly Hay

Epidemiologist

Kelly Hay is an epidemiologist with expertise in applied public health and informatics. She has a passion for improving the nation’s public health and the systems that support it. At MITRE, Hay primarily supports the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and analyzes data for research studies. Prior to joining MITRE, she practiced epidemiology at the local health department level where she co-led public health emergency preparedness and response activities, investigated and coordinated response to reportable diseases and outbreaks, and fostered relationships with community partners. She earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh and a master of public health in epidemiology from Emory University.
