Matthew Boyas is a Senior Data Scientist in MITRE’s Model-Based Analytics Department. In his projects, he has explored how predictive analytics can support efforts to serve children at risk for maltreatment and how complex systems modeling techniques can address prescription drug abuse and treatment. During his time at MITRE, Boyas has worked with multiple federally funded research and development centers (FFRDCs) across a variety of projects, including helping the Veterans Benefits Administration use sophisticated modeling techniques to better serve Veterans. He earned a master of arts in statistics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a bachelor of arts in Mathematics & Social Science from Dartmouth College
